In a recent noise comparison test, Coloram IT measured over 4.3db lower than the Coloram II during zero movement.
Coloram IT provides the ability to:
Remotely set DMX addresses - no more manual setting of DIP switches Immediately receive an alert if a lamp goes out
Know the condition of equipment before, during and after a show
Track lamp duty cycles to predict lamp failure before it happens
Predict maintenance on equipment
Predict gel replacement prior to degradation and much more.
Up to 32 gel colors can be used. Gel position is controlled by a standard lighting console using DMX512. The fader position is proportional to the gel position, allowing partial frames to be used if desired. For extended gel life, a 3-speed fan is included. Speed-off, low, and normal - is remotely controllable from the console or laptop.
Coloram IT is equipped with a series of sensors that can relay a wealth of information directly to a laptop, via InfoGate software, the heart of the InfoTrace system. These sensors can detect everything from light, temperature, and voltage to fan speed and even gelstring frame color information. It can give specific status information and even warn of potential problems, possibly averting failures in the middle of a show. If the status of a device indicates any problem, InfoGate displays an alert with the nature of the problem and the exact location. Troubleshooting is now done in a fraction of the time.
